Claire was invited to co-organise the first online Emerging Investigators in Microfluidics Conference in collaboration with NanoGe, which aimed at show-casing emerging investigators in microfluidics. She chaired the "Life from the Bottom Up" session. 

Claire has been invited to present at the Plant-Microbe Interactions Seminar Series 2021 at Utrecht University.

Claire's collaborative work with Prof. Gerhard Braus has yielded a research article entitled "Pseudomonas strains induce transcriptional and morphological changes and reduce root colonization of Verticillium spp." that has been accepted for publication in Frontiers in Microbiology!

Claire's research article "A versatile microfluidic platform measures hyphal interactions between Fusarium graminearum and Clonostachys rosea in real-time" has been accepted for publication in Communications Biology.

Claire's collaborative work with Dr Alexander Jones has yielded a research article entitled "Differential biosynthesis and cellular permeability explain longitudinal gibberellin gradients in growing roots" that has been accepted for publication in PNAS!

Claire will be directing a Leverhulme Research Project Grant "The Secret Life of Soil Fungi" which will fund a PhD student and Postdoctoral Research Associate in her lab.

Claire has been invited to present at the Bioengineering Seminar Series 2021.

In January 2020, Claire started a Lectureship (US Equivalent: Assistant Professor) in the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London. The Microbiome-Microscope and Microfluidics lab is born!
